SALVATION

Tomorrow is Good Friday. Christians worldwide will remember the day Jesus died, and the reason for his death. 

There is only one way to eternal life and that is to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour. Before we can do that, we need to acknowledge one simple fact; Jesus paid the price for our sins on a cross 2,000 years ago so that we wouldn’t have to pay for those sins through eternal separation from God. While it may have been Roman soldiers that physically nailed Christ to the cross, it is actually our sins that put Him there. That is why in Salvation by artist Ron DiCianni, a modern-day man is depicted at the foot of the cross holding the hammer. The only Man to ever walk the earth free of sin bore the sins of the world so that we can come to the Father and have a personal relationship with Him. The first step is to recognize that our sin put Christ on that cross then we must accept His forgiveness, confess Jesus as Lord and experience the wonderful gift of salvation.
