My sweetheart turns 70 today, July 23rd. She was hoping that Kate's baby would be born today. He arrived one day sooner.It's difficult enough coming to terms with my own 70 years plus a few months. Now I must adjust to be married to a seventy year old. But it's not all about me. She cannot believe she is 70. She feels like 50 she says. She looks stunning. She has been having a grand year, celebrating at different times, making an entire year's festivities of this birthday.
She recently had a day at the beach with her five grandchildren, and daughter Cari, a fine photographer took some memorable shots.
